15.6.2018 - The IP5 Heads of Office met in New Orleans, USA on 14 June 2018 to review progress in their joint initiatives and decide on next steps. In a separate meeting, the IP5 Heads of Office met with representatives of industry groups from the IP5 regions to update them on recent developments and engage in a dialogue on IP topics of strategic nature, such as quality and the further development of IP5 co-operation.

12.6.2018 - The IP5 Offices have compiled a list of useful links pointing to information sources on their respective websites. The new "online resources" section is meant to turn the IP5 website into an information hub and further improve the user experience.
20.4.2018 - The IP5 Offices have published their preliminary statistical indicators for 2017, showing overall trends at the IP5 level.
19.4.2018 - The IP5 Offices will launch a pilot project on 1 July 2018 to test a collaborative approach to international searches under the PCT.

9.2.2018 - The IP5 Industry Consultation Group (ICG) met in Tokyo on 1 February 2018 to discuss amongst others the work of the IP5 Patent Harmonization Expert Panel (PHEP), the PCT Collaborative Search and Examination (CS&E) pilot programme and a potential new stage of work-sharing.
28.11.2017 - The IP5 Offices have released the 2016 Edition of the IP5 Statistics Report highlighting filing trends and describing their activities in 2016.
13.10.2017 - The IP5 events calendar has been updated.
