The IP5 Examiners' Workshop is one of the key activities of the IP5 Foundation Project "Common Training Policy"; each year a workshop is organised at one of the five IP offices. In 2010, it took place at the European Patent Office in Munich.
The main objective of the event is to share views and real experiences among examiners when dealing with a common patent application, in order to enhance mutual understanding of the tools, procedures and practice in the different IP5 offices. This is an essential condition for creating trust between examiners across the Offices.
